    Friday Fun Facts

Talent Management Metrics Used Most Often by Organizations

    • 58%, Talent retention rate Metrics_2
    • 48%, Time to hire talent
    • 41%, Cost to hire talent
    • 38%, Diversity stats
    • 37%, Number of senior-level positions with identified successors
    • 27%, Percent of assessments completed
    • 25%, Rate of promotion from the talent pool
    • 16%, Average development spent on high potentials
    • 9%, Other

My commentary--I'm not sure what these metrics get us.  I'm guessing that they don't measure cost of attrition (re-training, re-posting, re-interviewing, etc.) because they feel that they can't get a handle on the data (or they don't want to see the staggering amount of money walking out the door when talent is poorly managed).
