    Jay, spot on as always. I thought 'thank you notes' were a given as they should be. As for recruiter/HR communication...don't get me started.

    Big Amen from the Finishing School. Technology does not yield etiquette obsolete. And while an emailed thank you is acceptable, a written note puts you above the crowd. It shows you have initiative and resourcefulness, and your momma raised you right. If you have bad handwriting, work on it.
