Pay Increases: What countries will have the largest 2007 projected real pay increases for senior managers?
China tops the list with 8.9%! Followed by Bulgaria at 7.8, India at 6.9, and Lithuania at 6.1.
The US didn't make the list. Maybe our senior executives already make enough? Hmmm, According to an article posted on Forbes.com, The heads of America's 500 biggest companies received an aggregate 54% pay raise last year. As a group, their total compensation amounted to $5.1 billion, versus $3.3 billion in fiscal 2003. I couldn't find the stats for 2006 but, rest assured,they are probably similar.
